Hello (again!)

Helloooooooooooooooo everyone !

I'm still alive, yea, but i almost got badly hurt!
I'm an experienced biker ;) I cycle EVERY DAY (ok...except for weekends and holidays) 25 km!
But no matter how experienced you are...everyone makes mistakes. I didn't make a mistake, I took a tumble off my bike and fell down on the road. (It was rushhour after school..........).
I can't stand that people started to laugh...but I have to admit that I'd laugh too.
But hey! I'm not mean!!
Anyway, my thumb got sprained! I had to walk around with a bandage! But I didn't need to participate in gym classes...that's a positive point. I couldn't play the piano anymore...but i still did.
I played with my left hand only (because my right hand got hurt).
My dad initially thougth it was broken...but after he took some xrays, he said it wasn't. I was happy to hear that.
Luckily I was wearing gloves when I fell down. I did that because it was a bit cold (to me). If I wasn't wearing gloves, it would have been worse. I'm sure of that, really.
I'm not planning to show some pictures of that......actually I can't because...I haven't taken any! haha! But it wasn't that bad. Lucky me.

For the rest....school...it's not so difficult. English, French, Dutch and Spanish are pretty easy for me. However my Spanish sucks. My conversation skills are ZERO/NADA/NIHIL/RIEN.
That might be because I've only started...erm...four weeks ago. Personally I think my English was better after four weeks of classes. That's probably because of the intimate relation of Dutch and English. Lol.

I'll post up some pictures later. I don't have photos now and I'm serious.
Of course I do have pictures...but come on, I can't upload every single one.
And of course...the subject of the pictures must be similar to the one of the text.
There is another crisis here in Belgium...again. Oh well...It's not my task to solve it.
For our English classes...we have to hold a debate....about American politcs.....hello???
Thank God...that I have to defend the democratic statements.
Luckily Yen is willing to help me a bit. Thanks!

Ok. Enough for now. Take care (to all my dear readers!)

(Now it's impossible to claim that i'm not creative....)

kaye eats cat

Celebrated kaye's bday at Italianies...but...no surprisingly we didn't take any pics there...

Which is really strange since we all enjoy taking pictures of ourselves all the time at any given time of the day, month, week, year, century.....

Here are some pics =)

Drink Chocolate

Hear ye Hear ye...

To all my peeps out there

Do drink plenty..I mean PLEANTY of nice yummy fufilling chocolate.

The calcium chocolate contains will benefit you till the time when your skin will be sagging and your speech sluring...

Warning: Do not think of the potential expanding waistline whilst drinking this miraculous drink as the result of not having at least one one hour exercise routine in your weekly calender.

My visit to THE chocolate factory in Belgium was very inspirational. It was gloriously exciting..the ways to process chocolate from bean to grin...and the many many types to suit each and every appetite!

Omgosh..I miss that place...

Let's go there again Vin!

Whenever you think about wine...drink chocolate instead...
Whenever you feel like a can of coke....drink chocolate instead...
Whenever you feel cold...have a nice pipping hot chocolate drink...
Whenever you feel warm....have a nice cold chocolate drink....
Whenever you.....it never ends I'll just stop.

A word of advice...don't drink those ridiculously sweetened sort of chocolate drinks. Those are the culprits of that ever expending waistline.

Bitter chocolate is apparently medicinal...Please confirm with our in-house 'Shaman' Sooky...you can leave shoutbox messages to directly ask her about it.

Leave shoutbox messages to Vin if you would like more information on chocolate's properties. He's our in-house chocolatier.

Leave a shoutbox message to Kaye if you want ideas on how to eat or cook chocolate. She's our in-house chocolate eater/taster/licker/sucker/drinker...the list goes on...

Ok...toodles....

GO CHOCOLATE! YAY!!!!

Finally some pictures on this blog!

Hahaha!!!

Hola everybody. I wanted to try to put some pictures on my blog. Here is the first one.
Guess what that is... =P...yea, belgian chocolate and a few bars of Toblerone (one of my favourites brands too though it is swiss).
My preferred way of eating is with some slices of bread. Then the original taste of the chocolate remains. And the food is still healthy. lol.

I don't want to drive all my readers envious. I just wanted to let them know.
The other brand is called 'Côte d'or' (literally translated from french: 'Coast of gold') and it's belgian! haha! Everyone should come here to taste it, haha. ;)
It's the best in the world. That's a known fact all around the world.
Later I will show the chocolate (and not only the boxes).

Besides that, I'm trying to learn/learning Spanish.
Here are a few of the awesome books I bought to help me during my journey.

The first one isn't so awesome...it contains 5000 words...and I all have to memorize them! :O
Oh well, you will always have to memorize words as you are studying a language. But that's the bad part of it. The other book is a bit better, though it's thicker. I think that most people don't really know the 'Assimil series', but it's a good way to start.
'Het nieuwe Spaans zonder moeite' is Dutch for 'The new Spanish with ease'.
I didn't really believe that at the beginning, but now i do. It's really easy, you just have to read some texts many times over and over again, and then (according to mr. Assimil) you will have absorbed the words used in the text. I have another book for English too, and yea...it worked!
I do know the words used in the texts...but that's probably because I'm motivated to improve my English.

Ok. More will follow later.

Help!!

Hi everyone (again)!

by the way, this is my second post! Please be happy because I never had the intention to start a blog. And that's why i didn't start this blog anyway, haha. Yen asked me to share one. ;)

So if anyone's reading this now, why don't you leave a comment so that we know what you think about this super blog. You can even ask some idiotic question and of course i'll be delighted to answer them. For instance you can ask me anything about BELGIAN CHOCOLATE.
It's the best in the world...hehe...i love it.

Other suggestions are welcome as well.

Here's the translation for my dear Dutch speaking readers.
People who don't understand Dutch can skip the next part. (don't skip everything!)

Hallo iedereen (opnieuw)!

(i don't really know why i have translated this, because almost everyone in Belgium can speak (or at least read) english... :S)

Ok. I promise that more interesting post will follow soon. Don't worry.

Vin.

My poor friend

Recently my friend who is only 16 this year was diagnosed with slip disc. Luckily the condition that my friend is facing is only a minor one.

THANKFULLY IT IS ONLY A MINOR ONE!

She really doesn't deserve this...she's such a nice person....

And you thought this only happens when you grow older....

But life is such as you have to APPRECIATE what you have...always.

Easier said than done, but I think it's worth writing and reading it over and over.

So my advice is this...

Be thankful and LOVE what you have even though it may not meet the so-called 'perfect' standards of a magazine cover.

Be kind and LOVE one another....everybody will need those someday.

CARPEDIEM!
Seize the day!

Hellooo

This is my first blog post EVER!!

I'm Vincent and I'm from Belgium.

Normally I write in Dutch, but I don't think many of my dear readers would be able to understand me...so that's why i've transitioned from Dutch to English.
This is another opportunity to practise my writing skills in English.

I'll write a nice story soon, and if some people still want me to write in Dutch (which i strongly doubt), then they can always leave a comment.

Music Lessons

Do not worry as I am very qualified and I am good at what I do and I live up to what I say =)

Cheers!

The beginning

Chapter 1

Once upon a time, in a far far away land, there lived a princess all alone in a tower high above ground.

Everyday the bird would start chirpping, the trees would start their rustling and the sun will dance upon her window and walls.

Such a lovely day everyday where no trolls or anxiety exists....until one day...the princess stumbled upon something rare and unheard of.

It was squarish in shape and black in colour and it opened up and down!

She shouted for joy! "At last! Something's happening in my life!"

She caressed and examined it thoroughly....not wanting to miss a single inch of that squarish black beautiful thing.

She lay it opened and pressed the button on the top most part and suddenly light and colour came on! Pictures and words started dancing in front of her eyes.

"Ooooo!! Ahhh!" she exclaimed. "I've never seen anything like this before!"

As words danced upon her eyes she was transported to a place and time where no other human has gone to...no other human in her era that is.

She was delighted.

She was excited.

The fullness of....the internet.
